• The original concept for Gabrielle depicted her as a tough, more outdoorsy character, wearing a baseball cap and a thick jacket. As the character transitioned into a more traditionally feminine appearance, the ‘tomboy’ aspects were given to the main character, Oojin, instead.
• Her parents affectionately call her 'Bambi' and 'Bambina', the Italian word for 'girl'.
  • The only other person who uses this nickname for her is Rowan, which he does with permission.​
• Examining her Schemer account reveals that she primarily posts/shares plant facts, pretty scenery, and trivia about the horror genre.
  • Her profile description reads: "Please take care of yourself! Things can seem hard, but you must stay strong. Keep going! I believe in you!"​
• Knock-off brands are her favorite, as she notes that they are usually cheaper and more sympathetic than bigger, more established brands.
  • Her favorite kind of cereal is one exclusive to a local grocery store near where she lives. It is an unsubtle ripoff of another, though Gabrielle notes that they taste the same.​​
  • Gabrielle is also prone to buying items in bulk and will rarely buy a small quantity of one thing, as she believes it’s more cost-efficient in the long run.
• Out of the main 4 characters, Gabrielle has had the most romantic experience in her past.
  • Oojin and Adam lack it completely, and Mililani only claims experience through meaningless flings.​​
  • Gabrielle has explained her history as complicated due to many wanting to date her for superficial reasons and her finding it difficult to raise her own standards. As a result, at the start of the story, she is uninterested in actively pursuing a relationship, focusing on her personal goals instead.
  • Based on certain dialogue between Gabrielle and Maura, it is implied that they were briefly in a relationship at one point. How they had met and how long it had lasted is unknown.
• 'Receptionist' is her job title at the florist, she is ultimately responsible for all heavy duty labor that goes on in the store, including taking care of the plants and transporting materials.
  • She insists on taking on such responsibilities, as her mother takes care of the finances and business back-end. She feels more comfortable working with plants and people.
• Entomology is a side interest of hers, as it helps her keep track of which bugs are helpful to plants.​
  • Her brother, Michael, influenced this, as he has a very strong interest himself.
• Strawberries are her favorite fruit.
  • She enjoys strawberry flavored and scented things.​ She denies ever eating strawberry-scented shampoo, though that denial usually prompts further questions.
  • Her least favorite fruit are pomegranates, as she prefers it when seeds are unobtrusive to the eating experience. In contrast, strawberry seeds are a nice decoration, like freckles!
• Oojin was the first character designed - Gabrielle was the second. Despite Oojin’s protagonist role being decided later down the line, their close bond with Gabrielle has existed since their inception.
• Throughout the week, she usually attends church three times - on Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Even though she acknowledges that it is irrational, she has a fear of being buried alive. As a result, when she is handling dirt for her planting, she is careful to keep a distance from deep holes.
  • She also prefers to avoid hospitals and instead has a first-aid kit on hand for emergencies.
• If asked about her enormous, three-headed plant, Kerber, Gabrielle fondly recalls the night that it was dropped off anonymously at the shop. She would care for it, even as its desire for insects escalated to bigger prey. Fortunately, it is an excellent pest deterrent for the shop, which balances the costs of the meat Gabrielle puts aside to feed it.
• Rachel, her middle name, was supposedly her father’s first choice. However, her mother insisted on Gabrielle, as she had dreams during her pregnancy that Grosa itself had visited her. Her father acquiesced and jokingly noted that he would have priority for the name of their third child.
• A Value such as FLORA is one of the most common and well-documented out of the known list, which has led to Gabrielle having an above-average grasp of her abilities. Despite this, she has confessed to not understanding the true extent to the power she wields, expressing concern that it may wield her if she is not too careful.
  • The Elemental Connection family is deeply reliant on one’s emotions, and negative ones such as stress can manifest the element in the user themselves. Gabrielle’s tendency to pick at her arms is a product of weeds and other plants growing from her skin.
  • Gabrielle also has considerably more freckles than anyone else in her family. She says that, strangely, many of them appeared as she developed her Value.
