Capracorn
The Field Specter. They are relatives of Bartyr, though they prefer fields sown with lush crops rather than wide pastures and alpine hills. Their most notable feature are their large, spiraled horns; one particular folk tale claims that they are hollow so farmers may store their bounteous harvest within them.
Overview
An agricultural scientist with a skillful hand in cultivation, chemistry, and calculation. She enjoys inventing products, recipes, and techniques via homegrown crops, though sometimes she likes to experiment for the heck of it.
She can be seen at the Eleazar Florist in Forest Grove, managing the family business.

Trivia
- Color-wise, Shiloh comes from a long line of green Chroma. It’s family folklore that this has been the case for generations due to their oldest ancestor being Grosa themself.
- She chose Spring Green as her Color Code due to her interest in the Tertiary deities. Though she adores the season itself, her favorite is actually summer.
- Her diet is carefully controlled according to fast days. The Eleazar gardens are filled with produce that specifically accommodate meals absent of meat and animal products. The Eleazar children obediently follow the fast when eating at home, but Shiloh is by far the most rigid practitioner of this religious keeping - observing it for up to 252 days per year.
- Part of her interest in exploring recipes came from this limitation. It distracted her from the challenges of her appetite. Fortunately, plenty of Ethiopian dishes are vegan.
- The relationship she has with her son, Michael, has seen much turbulence over the years. In his teenage years, the fights got so bad that he would escape to his friends’ houses for days at a time. Shiloh would indirectly apologize by cooking his favorite meals, which would always accelerate his return. Now that he’s moved out and developed an overall self-sufficient life, their bond seems to have recovered little by little.
- Her family’s immigration to the United States landed her in Letterpal, with the sprawling fields akin to that of her countryside town. However, her dream destination was always Forest Grove - a city with better resources on the research and business side of what she loved.
- One of her personal favorite flowers is the poppy. It often grew alongside the barley on her childhood farm.
- Nearing the winter months guarantees a seasonal depression that lasts until the spring. Shiloh will stay inside more often, wearing darker colors and appearing morose. It doesn’t help that Eleazar Florist gets flooded with orders during this time, forcing her daughter to pick up the pace at the front.
- Gabrielle admits that she (and her brother) has it as well, though she claims to adapt better than the rest of her family. Someone’s got to get everything ready for Christmas!
- In her young adult years, dating was never a priority. Even if someone caught her eye, her behavior was too withdrawn to allow herself vulnerability. The exception was Lazarus Eleazar, a college associate who volunteered to mow her lawn whenever it overgrew (which it often did, as she kept herself very busy). She gradually grew a fondness for him, to her embarrassment.
- His presence helped keep pests away from her garden. As a result, she would sometimes reward her scarecrow with home-grown produce, to his delight.
- Unfortunately, he would spend his last decade in and out of the hospital, a result of his family heart complications. When he passed, Shiloh took her children out of school to an impromptu vacation to distract them; however, upon returning home, she couldn’t bear to stay in Letterpal any longer.
- An ardent textile crafter and weaver, Shiloh finds comfort in keeping her hands busy while working on more cerebral tasks. In the Eleazar household, there is nary a surface without a crocheted tablecloth nor a corner without a plant sitting in a basket.
