• Her family owns a relatively large business enterprise, making her a potential heir. However, though she is skilled in math and economics, her people skills are… well-meaning, at best. Regardless, she is the most willing candidate of the three Zhou siblings, as her older and younger sisters have committed to futures far away from their familial responsibilities.
  • Tian herself seems to have doubts about taking on this responsibility. She has described her attempts in encouraging ​Vera, the oldest, to acquiesce to their parents’ demands, to no avail.
• Ever since she was young, Tian has remained devout to the spiritual philosophies that she grew up with. She believes in a ‘heaven’ and celestial, powerful deities that command the fabric of the universe.
  • This is something she has in common with her ​younger sister, Cheng - though Cheng’s beliefs are more aligned towards traditional western Christianity.
  • She also insists that, because of her lineage, she is destined for greatness. That may be a contributing factor to her misplaced ego and confidence.
• A proud skill of hers is her flexibility. She regularly stretches and practices yoga, which is helpful for many Values in the Super family and particularly hers.
• Various sports are in her repertoire, particularly those that emphasize speed and quick reflexes. Track and field is her most prominent sport, but Tian explains that swimming is a close second, as her Value is inhibited by water. As a result, her performance is moreso dependent on her true athletic skills rather than a special ability.
  • When competing, she normally does the 400m freestyle, as it is her favorite stroke.
• Every race she wins is cemented by her iconic ‘V for Victory’ pose, which she cites is something inspired by racing shows she watched as a child.
• Navigating the country is something she does with ease, as prior to her current occupation she was a mail delivery carrier. She has memorized many roads and geographical layouts, as well as traffic patterns.
  • Though she was an impressive mailman, she ultimately was laid off due to her overly friendly attitude towards civilians. She would accidentally reveal private information or even act as people’s personal messengers due to her naïveté.
• Snakes appear to be a fear of hers ever since an incident she had as a child. She notes that she still has dreams about them, arguing against the traditional belief that their appearance is a propitious omen.
• Contrary to her confident demeanor, Tian is actually incredibly bashful when it comes to romantic reciprocation. She also has difficulty distinguishing the nuances of other people’s emotions and may assume that they feel her passion just as strongly.
  • This may be why, when encountering someone with hostility, she interprets their intensity as a passion that can be turned positive through the power of her encouragement.
• Of all the competitors in the 200th season, Tian is the one of the few to have a relative who had also competed in a recent season (another being Galo). As a result, there have been rumors that her admission is the result of nepotism.
• Many have captured Tian’s heart. In fact, it’s unknown what her standards are, as nearly everyone she comes across has managed to meet them. Mathematically, it’s a miracle that no one has reciprocated her feelings thus far.
• Motor vehicle maintenance is not her strong suit, so she often pays a premium for her trusty racecar to be looked at and cared for. She sees this as a smart investment and hopes to keep the same car until the very end.
  • Her current car, the Supersonic V, is the first car she purchased as a professional racecar driver. It is named such due to its ability to travel up to Mach 5 speed. It is her most prized possession.
• Although her Color Code is formally Teal, she also alternates between Turquoise - a brighter hue - and Tiffany Blue, which was inspired by her English name.
• Now and then, Tian will refer to herself in the third person. It appears to be both purposeful and something she does unconsciously in moments of weakness.
• During her school years, she had attended an elite academy reserved for children of prosperous families. This is where she would meet those who would show up again as fellow competitors, such as ​Yuna Chakrabarti and ​Matt Umuthicula.
• Since her youth, Tian has been a stalwart advocate for obeying rules and regulations. The only ‘rebellious’ things she’s done were her impassioned, risky ventures to her racing career, which her parents disapproved of. Otherwise, she can be a bit of a stick-in-the-mud who seeks to make a name for herself in the systems that exist rather than critiquing or destroying them.
