Phixie
The Tinkering Specter. If you hear the tinkling of bells, flapping wings, and tiny laughter, you may find yourself in the midst of hard-working Phixie. Once corporeal, they are inseparable from the charms and trinkets they create. The trails of sparkling dust they often leave behind are the result of such labor.

Overview
A lively creator who’s always coming up with new ideas. Though she specializes in metalwork as a whitesmith, she boasts a diverse handiwork across different materials and fields. Payment for her assistance includes high praise, as her ego is just as insatiable as her curiosity.
All for a ‘greater good’, she says.

Trivia
- While her occupation doesn’t necessitate human relations, Jenny travels far and wide to observe, help, and work with all kinds of people. This is partly possible due to close friend and train conductor Manuel Nordenskiöld, who assists her with railway travel and material allocation in exchange for her services.
- Manuel was particularly an asset when she was younger and couldn’t afford travel costs. He knew the rails well and could sneak people aboard, even under his father’s watchful eye.
- Both parties see themselves as ‘the generous one’ and are convinced that the other owes them great debt. This is a constant source of contention.
- Recycling matters a lot to Jenny, who got into tinkering in the first place with the scrap metal and other material people threw out. She would find a use for everything she picked up, which made her both thrilled and frustrated. Once she became a full-fledged inventor, she made sure that her failed inventions get broken down again for parts, so nothing gets wasted.
- She has gotten in trouble for dumpster-diving (completely legal and honestly doing everyone a favor), as well as getting aggressive towards people who litter (they deserve it and Id do it again).
- Elwyn, her younger brother, is one of the reasons why her personality is so grandiose. She entertained him all the time by telling him stories. Because of her performance - or perhaps his naivete - they would pretend for weeks at a time that they were characters in an epic fantasy tale.
- Necklaces with little bells on them are a tradition from when she was younger, when she made them out of scraps. She also made plenty for her brother to wear, since she lost track of him a lot.
- A compulsive snacker, Jenny is usually seen with a bag of Mab™ brand Trail mix. She’ll only share if you catch it with your mouth.
- She trained alongside blacksmith Maple Chaudhary during her whitesmith apprenticeship with renowned mechanic Ryujin Seong. While he worked in the forge with hot metals, she would craft, shape, and polish light metals. She compensated for her lack of skill in his department by insisting that her role was superior, which incited a years-long argument about their respective professions.
- Jenny prefers to work dextrously with her hands rather than slowly and meticulously with protective gloves. She is also averse to intense heat and fire, which Maple would use to his advantage when teasing her.
- In appearance, Jenny is dainty and traditionally feminine. However, she is a hot-tempered rough-houser at heart who had no qualms about protecting her brother with force. She even scared him at times with how strong she was, such as when she took out a gang of thieves all by herself.
- She always carries a ball-peen hammer with her - useful for work and for self-defense. Manuel calls her THE HAMMER-WIELDING MAD-WOMAN.
- Spring Bud is a more formal Color Code she has used in the past. However, the more people called her by her nickname, Jenny, the more she adapted by claiming June Bud as her Color Code instead.
- A Value like HOVER is essentially telekinesis - allowing one to move mass without touching it physically. When Jenny is hard at work, there are usually several relevant parts floating around her. Interrupting her usually breaks her concentration, sending everything to the floor with a clatter.
- Jenny has ‘trained’ her Value by using it on weights like a gym regimen… to mixed results.
- She is capable of utilizing HOVER on herself to a small extent, though it is not nearly as effective as a Value that allows one to fly (ARISE) or Values that control aspects of the air (OZONE, ANEMO). She has expressed frustration over this.
- Nosy and drama-hungry, Jenny loves to snoop in other people’s business. Her job has only enabled this, as she has access to a wide network of people. She is above spreading rumors… but not above a little spying.
- Currently, she has over 3,000 patents. She hopes to become the world’s most prolific inventor.
- Every Christmas, she brings her wandering brother home to celebrate it with him. Over the years, more of her friends have joined in, and it’s become the first official ‘Faire Holiday Tradition’. She’s proud to show off her cooking skills and, more importantly, have a place to call home on such an important day.
- Medical knowledge came in handy as she was raising her brother by herself, so Jenny taught herself about health and the human body. This is also why she personally installs the prosthetic limbs she builds.
- She has attempted to revolutionize the reflex hammer by using an actual hammer, to mixed results.
- Alchemy is of particular interest to Jenny. She began working with Professor Chae-Seong Kim based off of one of his research projects - one that discussed the possibility of an ancient Value capable of alchemical achievements, such as purifying metal.
- Not much is known about their parents. Elwyn was too young to remember, and Jenny barely talks about them. The surname ‘Faire’ may have even been entirely made up.
