A straight-forward, honest journalist who cares about truth and integrity. Though she is incredibly perceptive - crime scenes are her specialty - she comes off as socially withdrawn and mentally distant from other people.

• Interest in romance is rare from Bri, as she prefers to focus on her work. However, she is one of the few major characters to have a named ex-partner - that being Maura.
  • Maura is also implied to have been Bri's only partner. The same cannot be said the other way around.​
• On occasion, Bri can be seen reading mystery novels. She enjoys trying to solve the mystery ahead of time, and her books are usually riddled with sticky notes on the side.
  • Mystery is the only fictional genre she likes. Otherwise, she prefers to read nonfiction, like academic and philosophical works, or anything featuring the news.​
• As a result of her financially troubled upbringing, Bri has a distaste for the outrageously privileged upper class, which most manifests through her interactions with aristocrats such as Yuna Chakrabarti.
• Notebooks and pens are stored in her shoulder bag, as she rarely travels without a way to write things down.​ She says that she has not needed to buy writing tools in a long time, as she always finds secondhand ones people have discarded.
  • Small snacks can also be found there, such as dried squid.​
• Neurologically, Bri has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD). Out of the three types, she has the Predominantly Inattentive Type (ADHD-PI).
• Every time she says 'oh' or makes a similar expression, Bri has a tendency to keep her mouth slightly ajar even after completing the sound. She claims that this is because she often forgets to close her mouth and was never socially aware enough to do so.
  • Her default mouth expression being represented by a dot [ 0.0 ], rather than the typical line [ 0_0 ], alludes to this.​​
• Synestheism deeply interests her. Though she doesn't consider herself particularly religious, she follows the faith's history, culture, and teachings, seemingly driven by her fascination with the sacred and divine.
  • BLAIR, her patron deity, appears to be the closest figure she has to a role model. Her mother, Nereida, also has a strong connection to BLAIR, which may be one of the reasons why Bri regards her (as well as Salacia) more fondly than Araceli.​​​
• According to Maura, Bri only started wearing a hat at her insistence when they were younger. Before then, Bri had very messy, unkempt hair, and Maura argued that she might as well try to cover some of it up.
• Negligence seems to run in Bri's family, as Araceli De Los Santos, her mother, managed to get her pilot's license quite young because she had gone behind her parents' back, which was only possible because they paid little attention to her.
  • In contrast, Nereida grew up under the strict supervision of her mother and Bri's grandmother Salacia, which would attract her to a charismatic daredevil like Araceli.​​​​
  • Little is known about Salacia's upbringing, but it's likely that it did not fare any better.​​​​
• Gesturing, as well as body language in general, doesn't come naturally to Bri. She seems content to simply stand still most of the time. This also applies to facial expressions, which explains her ‘blank by default’ face.
  • Strangely, this is the same way she swims. She floats like a log.​​​
• Leaving Bri alone for too long will inevitably result in her wandering off. Though she is a rather introverted person, once she is outdoors, she will go wherever her curiosity takes her. She has found herself lost as a result of this, far too many times.
  • Bri is skilled in noting and analyzing her surroundings, but she doesn't have a natural sense of direction.​ That’s why she always carries a compass with her; though it helps little when it comes to exact locations.
• In her introduction, Bri demonstrates an elementary level of hydrokinesis and aerokinesis, reflecting her mothers' Values and proving that complex Values like CLIME can also extend to the parts making up the whole (ANEMO and HYDRO), albeit to a lesser extent.
• Coastal areas appear to be paradoxically nostalgic and uncomfortable to Bri due to her upbringing.
  • This may also explain why Bri, prior to The Program, prefers travelling from place to place as a journalist rather than remaining close to home.​
• Under no circumstances will she travel by plane. She prefers to use a teleportation service, even if it is more expensive and physically jarring. Bri has explained that the height doesn't trouble her - her own ability does.
• Symbolically, Bri has three visual motifs. Clouds and Anchors appear as an allusion to her mothers. Finally, she is associated with rain, which travels from the sky to the sea as a part of the water cycle.​
  • Her middle name, Marisol, in Spanish is [mar y sol], or "sea and sun".​​
