Trivia
- Wearing a large ribbon in her hair is a habit she’s had since childhood. She’s never seen without one, even taking it to war with her. American soldiers joke that the ‘red banner’ on the battlefield has become feared among their enemies, as it usually precedes the turning of tides in combat.
- A prodigal chess player, Regina often invites people to play: both to pass time and assess their intellect.
- Since she travels for work, she carries with her a personalized portable chessboard. The two sides are white and red, and the pieces are meticulously crafted to resemble militaristic figures.
- She likes to collect antique chess pieces. She has an ivory queen piece from the 15th century.
- Ruber - her patron Chromadeity - is symbolically present in much of her military attire. This appears to be a purposeful tribute, as she wears a helm during battle that resembles the one Ruber is typically depicted with.
- A Value like POWER goes beyond combat. With her leg training, she is capable of above-average speed as well as leaping over buildings with a similar efficiency as one who can fly.
- The only downside is that, when landing, she has to make an effort not to crater the ground.
- Nom de guerres (and a matching couleur de guerre) for military personnel have trended towards gems and minerals in the past century. Regina decided on her first and only Color Code in elementary school for this very reason, determined that she would become a leader and freedom fighter one day.
- She would inadvertently start her own trend in high school where admirers adapted gemstone Color Codes/identities; not out of any military affiliation but in hopes to become as strong as her.
- During business trips to the American south, Regina likes to make stops to Mimiland in Fandango, Florida. Though she doesn’t ride the attractions, she likes to take in the spectacle nonetheless, admiring how such a fantastical place brings people together.
- She respects Director Ōshiro's work but has a less than pleasant relationship with the artist herself. Any attempts to rope her into some fairy tale roleplay - where logic is backwards and cards outrank chess because the princess says so - are firmly rejected.
- Entertainer Claude Abbott, who is more mellow compared to his coworkers, is the only Mimiland employee who has successfully invited her to play a game.
- In her free time at college - outside of her involvement in clubs, communities, and local governments - she had a part-time job as a Super for Candy Apple Metro.
- Like most Supers, she disguised herself with a professional alias. She went by Candace.
- Despite moving on to more international responsibilities, she still keeps an eye on the Super Societies throughout the country. In another life, she believes she would be a full-time superhero.
- Namibia, Reginia’s home country, was where she met her Specter. Though they had not officially bonded, it would follow her over to America as if it had already made its decision. Regina was grateful, since she didn’t have much else to remember her birthplace by.
- The 195th season of The Program featured Regina as competitor #05 - culminating in a thrilling finale where she faced off against Emil Zsoldos, competitor #04. Though her victory would grant her the military authority she desired, Emil was rewarded with a similar (albeit lower) position, forcing them to work together only a few months after a brutal 1v1.
- Regina regards her coworker as a sadistic, bloodthirsty brute and is unenviable tasked with reigning him in whenever he goes too far. In turn, he calls her a stuck-up alpha bitch.
- The only thing they seem to have in common is their reverence for veteran Admiral Magindara.
- Emil notes that Regina was at the epicenter of a social implosion their senior year. Friendships and relationships alike collapsed. As a fellow student with no skin in the game, he found it very entertaining.
- Long enough to flow like a cape, Regina’s hair is her proudest feature. She can spend hours combing it.
- Like Emil, Regina came to America at a young age with no other family members. She was cared for by a special military division, which allowed her to attend a good school despite having no finances herself.
- 'Empress’ is a nickname she’s earned based off of her intimidating, but noble personality. Regina has had issues with it - she’d rather be recognized for her reason rather than inherent superiority - but she admits that she’d gladly rule over people if it means leading the world to a better future.
- Even when she was the ‘alpha’ of her clique in her teenage years, she found blind worship condescending at worst and uncomfortable at best.
- Controversially, Regina detests the Value-centered hierarchy present in society. She argues that capable people are denied opportunities every day due to their lack of matured Value, and their untapped potential is, in reality, a boon rather than a hindrance.
- The Value she has was matured at an exceptionally young age. The manner in which she laments this indicates that she didn’t have much control over it.
