Though, that won’t stop him from getting frustrated when they don’t meet up to his standards.

• Intellectually, Rüzgar is unmatched. He can get absorbed in his own confidence, and he enjoys teasing other scholars with what he’s devised without explaining how he calculated them. Regardless, he welcomes competition, as it provides a stimulating challenge for him.
• Lacking a team of students due to his more independent work style, Rüzgar instead has had part-time assistants who are responsible for keeping his workplace tidy and writing notes when he’s thinking aloud.
  • His current assistant, Ciel Akil, is particularly skilled at reviewing Rüzgar’s designs and making physical models from them. Rüzgar notes that he would craft them himself, but giving someone else that responsibility allows them such a rare learning opportunity to build from my brilliance!
  • His previous assistant was skilled astronomer Galo Lee, though Galo had quit about a year ago for unknown reasons.
• Little is known about his background and upbringing. He mentions a father now and then (Çağrı Esenyel), though he sees no need to elaborate on the details of his family.
• Mathematics and physics are his specialty, but he also dabbles in engineering, astronomy, and other sciences from classical antiquity. He claims that such fields have always been of interest to him, and reducing his profession to mere ‘mathematician’ does a disservice to his repertoire. People do it anyway.
• Over 16 books have been published in his lifetime. He also hopes to write an autobiography someday.
• Very few people are in his close circle, as he claims to only truly enjoy the company of those who match his intellect. Interacting with inferior minds is something he treats as labor, either out of benevolence or curiosity.
  • Goldopolis starlet Diana Morozov is one of the exclusive few, despite her dazzling life contrasting heavily with his more scholarly one. But they compare in smarts and elaborately bizarre logic. She is the only person Rüzgar has described as his equal.
  • Synesthetic Program Treasurer Inigo Guo rarely engages with Rüzgar’s intellectual provocations. But since their mental processing speed is bolstered by their Value, Rüzgar will always be a little competitive around them.
• Economically, Rüzgar’s lifestyle isn’t as luxurious as his attitude begets. His experiments and studies cost more than they profit, and it’s only due to his achievements that he isn’t dirt broke.
• The truth of existence doesn’t interest him as much as finding how and why things work.
  • His dabbling in contraptions and mechanics have caught the eye of some inventors, though his mind seems more fit for the imaginative rather than the practical.
  • He has assisted in some cases - civil and criminal - due to his problem-solving skills. He isn’t cut out for full-time detective work, however; he dislikes the cruel and macabre too much.
• He can get so absorbed in his work that his behavior can become utterly illogical and even dangerous. He has walked into traffic multiple times because his attention laid firmly in his thoughts rather than his surroundings. Luckily, his Value comes in handy in such moments of peril, though it doesn’t stop him from looking near-suicidal to the unknowing bystander.
• Early accounts of Rüzgar as a child describe him as precocious and obedient; the kind of youth who always asked questions but otherwise rarely stepped out of line.
• Eager to conclude things by his own devices rather than others’, Rüzgar can be seen deliberately engaging in dangerous stunts, such as disassembling weapons, ingesting poison, using his Value at precarious heights. He claims that this sates his curiosity, builds his immunity to dangers, and makes him appreciate life all the more. Galo admits that such a lifestyle practically makes him superhuman.
  • Ciel once looked after a bed-ridden Rüzgar for a week after he tried combining some unsavory drugs. It is no surprise that chemistry is not his strong suit.
• At his estate, his pride and joy is the observatory room. The telescope alone is worth a small fortune.
• Rüzgar rarely interfaces with the Synesthetic Program in current day, calling it style without substance. However, the 199th season caught his attention after its controversial, anti-climactic finale. With his assistant at the time, he donned his investigator’s hat and searched for answers. The resulting theory was inflammatory in its own right - that the season’s Champion stood at the center of all their questions.
  • He was the first notable figure to propose such an idea. Nevertheless, after The Program threatened him legally (despite him being an alumni himself), he has yet to publicly address the subject again.
• There are peafowl families that live with him, typically resting in the forest area surrounding his estate. He once claimed (unprompted, to a puzzled Ciel) that he birthed them and officiated their marriages.
  • He has also claimed (unprompted and just as confidently) that he can ascertain the exact weight and measurements of an egg by sight alone. He has yet to be proven wrong.
• His bathtub is surrounded by different shelves dedicated to reading material. He can spend hours in there.
