A hyperactive, spirited proprietor to the Switser multinational confectionary company. Adopted by heir Lucas Switser, Louis has taken the Switser brand in outlandish places with his ideas for both manufacturing and advertising.

His body moves as erratically as his mind, powered by his sweet tooth.

• Their adoptive guardian, Lucas Switser, claimed that Louis was an orphan found lurking near one of the Switser factories. As Louis has grown up, he has adapted more of a proprietary role for the Switser brand.
  • His ideas include gum that can provide dozens of flavors as you chew through different layers, as well as hosting blind taste-testing contests to see if people can really taste certain colors. Though his success has been mixed, he has cemented himself as an eccentric genius.
• Influential chef and culinary artist Lawahiz Shaksuki acts as a secondary guardian to Lucas. While Lucas moreso focuses on food preparation and presentation, Lawahiz has trained Louis to hone his taste buds to be as sensitive as they are today. It’s a shame he prefers strong flavors over anything precise.
  • His Color Code, Lemon-Lime, is a combination of Lucas and Lawahiz’ Codes. He says that he can't help but love both sweet and sour.
• Perpetual hunger appears to be a consequence of his Value. When he's not eating, he needs something to chew on, as the absence of flavor is unbearable to him. He’ll make lollipops last as long as possible by not biting them.
• On his person at all times is a special walking cane, as he suffers from chronic fatigue.
  • He’s broken/chewed through several canes over the years. Eventually, Lucas started getting him ones with a durable, carbon fiber body rather than traditional wood.
  • His Specter also assists him, either physically or by searching for sustenance.
• Factory visits are highly restricted, as Switser has had problems involving industrial espionage by rival companies. Those who have borne witness to the grand manufacturing plant describe it as a confectionary paradise, where imagination and culinary sciences take form. Louis has lamented his controlled lifestyle as the company’s main proprietor, wanting nothing more than to see people enjoy their creations as he does.
• Your Chroma determines your eye color, but a small percentage of the population exhibit heterochromia due to genetic mutations. Louis is one of them, his left eye a strong Candy Apple Red in contrast to his right.
  • It is also his weaker eye and can deviate from the other. It was much worse when he was younger, to the point where he was always cross-eyed.
• One of Louis’ oldest friends is Patricio, a traveling magician who similarly lacked any family when they were a child. Patricio was supposedly the ‘moral compass’ of the pair, as they had some semblance of parental guidance in the past while Louis grew up completely alone.
  • Louis regularly sends them a jar of jellyeans with hundreds of flavors, even ones that haven’t been tested and approved yet. Patricio returns the sentiment with letters and little sketches.
• Unable to find clothes his size when he lived in the streets, he grew accustomed to wearing ones that hung loosely off of him. Even now, he prefers the texture and weight of baggy clothes, especially if he can flap his sleeves like he did when he was a child.
• Remarkably, Louis has never gotten a cavity.
  • Lucas takes credit for this, as he was the one who provided him ~* EXTENSIVE *~ dental care as soon as he joined the Switser family.
  • Lawahiz theorizes that his particularly gluttonous Value may be digesting the bacteria in his mouth that would produce enamel-eroding acids.
  • Louis chalks it up to personal skill. He’s Just That Good @u@
• The accessory in his hair was inspired by close friend Heidi Costello, who wears barrettes resembling sprinkles. Unlike Heidi, Louis doesn’t see the issue with using a real candy wrapper.
• Obscure cartoons from the 2000’s are his media of choice. His favorite features the popular mascot Limo, an excitable, eccentric green monster who speaks in a nonsensical manner. His mouth is always open in an expression of childlike wonderment. And though he isn’t human, he loves human food more than anything.
  • His room is filled with Limo merchandise, including a 5-foot tall plushie that sits on his bed.
• Nuts are, to him, an important part of chocolate. This includes both flavor profile and nutrition, as he assumes that anything can be made ‘healthy’ by adding nuts. Lawahiz blames herself for this, as she was the one to inform him that drupes like pecans and almonds are technically fruits.
• Gained weight can easily be burned off if his Value is directed towards his fat reserves. However, even without TASTE, Louis has a strong metabolism. Combined, his risk of starvation is much higher than the average person, which puts him in danger when left alone without a reliable source of food.
  • He is currently on special medication that slows down his digestion to a manageable level.
• Ultimately, Louis wants to develop a candy that lasts forever. Something that only needs to be bought once.
• Every wondrous sugar high comes crashing down eventually. When he’s hungry and desperate, he becomes somewhat mentally unstable. His friends and family know this personality as ‘Lewis’.
  • If he can’t sate his addiction, he’ll find another one to replace it.
