Stella Rockett

A gloomy, caustic rock musician who makes up for their stilted speech with the loudest, heaviest metal music imaginable. The drummer of the Rockett duo, Stella seems to enjoy the sheer chaos of the genre rather than making a point like her sister.

It definitely drowns out whatever is causing her to twitch like that…

• The wheelchair Stella uses was specially designed for her. It has specific pockets to hold her drumsticks, as well as built-in smoke machine. It can also do sick wheelies, to the frenzied delight of their audience.
• Heavy metal distinguishes Stella’s musical leanings from her sister Susie, a fan of pure punk rock, and their mother Joan, who prefers the broader genre of rock.
  • When she isn’t performing, she is usually listening to the loudest, most distorted music through thick headphones. Susie has long accepted this habit as stels getting serenity in her own weird way.
• Even though she performs her heart out on stage, Stella is a deeply asocial person. She doesn’t often speak; when she does, her words are usually uncouth and unprompted, as if purposefully trying to disconcert the other party. As a result, though there is no unofficial ‘leader’ of the Rockett duo, Susie generally takes the reins when it comes to representing the band.
• Khthosmenon’s true form has only been seen by Stella herself. The rare times it has been summoned was in its camouflaged ‘civilian’ form, which resembles an odd-looking raccoon.
  • These ‘civilian’ forms are unique to mythical Specters who bond with humans. Their natural forms are usually very large, intricate, and somewhat frightening to the layman. So, they reduce their energy and adapt a more innocent-looking form so they can acclimate to human society without conflict.
• Their hands tend to spasm erratically, to the point where writing is quite difficult. The Rocketts have chalked this up to a motor tic. One of the few ways Stella can fight through it is with drumming. Focusing on a steady rhythm - as well as loud music in general - overpowers the urge.
  • She is usually seen playing with a drumstick, even when she doesn’t have a drum kit in front of her. It supposedly helps lessen the muscle spasms.
