This is probably the most elaborate area in the store. It's also one of the busier ones - there is already a decent number of people perusing these wares already.

You carefully navigate around the crowd and stroll through the aisles, taking it all in. The smaller decor ranges from things to put on your desk to ones you hang on your wall. The bigger ones would likely require employee assistance to get it out of the building. Not all of them are gaudy, but a good number are some have the most obnoxious heart-themed furnishings you've ever seen. Appealing to the lowest level of romantic, you think.

Y/N   Just the act of giving alone is romantic enough.

You jolt. Beside you is a familiar face, holding up what looks to be a decorative plastic skeleton wearing a pink tie.

Y/N   Hi, Caroline.

She makes the skeleton wave. When she speaks up again, she puts on a low, gruff voice.

CR   (Looking awfully fleshy today, Y/N)

Y/N   I'm sorry I have what you lack.

CR   (Nah, it's okay! I'll get it back soon)

Y/N   What's that supposed to mean?

CR   Don't worry about it XD

CR   More importantly, have you seen the kinds of things they're selling these days?

CR   It sucks that the best season is over, subjecting us to all this X/

Y/N   You mean Halloween? It's been over for months.

She doesn't seem to hear you as she peers around at the decor surrounding the two of you. The skeleton is hoisted over her shoulder, her previous routine forgotten.

CR   Besides, don't you find most of these corny?

CR   Real hearts look totally different XP

Y/N   An anatomical heart might gross people out.

CR   It'd drive away what needs to be driven away!

CR   And you know what holiday embraces accurate human anatomy?

CR   The better one XD

You shake your head. You don't know why she gets so competitive when it comes to the two candy-filled seasons, especially when the current one is obviously superior. It affords better opportunity for interpersonal advancement, and it has better aesthetics overall. You'd argue her on this, but it'd be a waste of time and dialogue.

Y/N   Where did you get that, anyway?

CR   Get what?

Y/N   The skeleton on your shoulder! Obviously it's not from around here!

CR   Oh yeah

Its skull is lovingly pet.

CR   No, he's definitely not sold here

CR   Would be way better if he was, don't you think?

Y/N   You should put it back in whatever section you got it from.

CR   Uh, I just told you I didn't get him here

CR   Do you think they'd sell this kind of high-quality bone at any department store?

CR   Give me a break XP

Y/N   ...

Y/N   You just brought it with you? Into the store?

CR   And I dressed him up! See?

CR   Plus, they don't have one of those 'no shoes, no shirt, no service' rules here

CR   Carti is just like any member of the public

CR   And he's accompanying me. I'm his guardian
