You give the tome a fleeting glance before you put it away. The 001's are within the ethics, knowledge, and systems classification - so, you're not surprised to see a familiar German philosopher. Though you are surprised that someone besides you have been studying his material. Relative to the average consumer, he is rather... 'niche'.

No need to justify the pun. It's not as if anyone's listening.

OJ   (hey)

As much as you'd like to spend the rest of your shift ascending beyond the perspectival nature of knowledge and ethics, you've trained yourself to prioritize organization over intellectual stimulation. At least, while you're on the clock.

Two more left.

OJ   (hello?)

You look over the spine labels again, just in case. One is another seminal text of Western philosophy, one you could easily spend an evening poring over. The other is another originally German text with a deceptively elementary title. These should only be a shelf or two away.

Fortunately, only a minute has passed since you've immersed yourselves in the shelf material. Though it would be beneficial to practice more efficient meandering - you wouldn't want to be caught standing idly when you're supposed to be shelving.

OJ   ...

Not as if you're conscious of your presentation to that extent. But if someone were watching you, you'd make sure they'd see exactly what you want them to see.

OJ   HEY SCARF GUY!!
